How long do you stay at my BIG DAY?
We believe that in order to capture your whole day we need to be there for the whole day so we are there from the bride and groom getting ready till they leave the reception.

How long should we allow for photos?
The short answer is as long as you can, you need to take into account that after the ceremony people will want to congratulate you, take family photos etc, then you have to drive to the venue where the photos need to be taken, then typically onto the reception, we would suggest at least an hour on top of this for photos so it is not rushed and the bride, groom and bridal party can relax while we take the photos.

How many photographers do you use at my BIG DAY?
At The BIG Day, we believe that the best way to capture the entire day is to use 2 photographers, it means we can always cover different aspects of the day and ultimately give you more photos that show more of your day.

What are the payment terms?
$100 non refundable deposit on booking with balance paid 5 days prior to wedding.

Do we get all the negatives?
Absolutely, we give you all the Raw images (negatives) we take on DVD, We also give you DVDs with all your photos in colour, b/w & sepia ready to print. This gives you total flexibility in how you have your images processed.

How do I meet with you?

appointment. We can show you Albums, Canvas prints, Coffee table books, Photos of Weddings we have done.

What packages do you offer?
Have a look at our packages page, we start with a basic package and then let you add whatever you like, Albums, Coffee table books, Canvas prints in any size, Ipods.We want the photos to be exactly what you want.

How long till I can get my photos?
With our basic package we can have the photos back to you in a week, usually less. Photos we put on our website are usually up within 2 days.

What is the Slideshow at the reception?
We bring a large screen to the reception with us and put together a slideshow of about 100 photos of your BIG Day. This is a huge hit with not only the bride & groom but also the guests who can see what has happened throughout the day.

Can I have a website for family & friends to view the photos?
As part of our basic package we give you a website for a year that will have all the photos shown at the reception slideshow.

Where will you travel for weddings?
We are based in the north west of Sydney. We will travel anywhere between Woolongong and the Central Coast and out to Katoomba as part of our package, outside these areas we would need to include travel costs and accommodation.

What sort of albums do you have?
We can do Traditional, Magazine Style, & Coffee Table books

What sort of Media can I get my photos on?
At The BIG Day, we offer all types of Albums, Coffee table books, Canvas prints (up to 1.4m wide) Standard prints in any size, Ipods (with Slideshow and/or all your photos) or if you already have an Ipod we can provide the files for you to import with itunes.

Black & White, Sepia, Special effects, Can I have these types of photos?
As part of our basic package we give you all your photos in Black & White, Colour and Sepia. If you want any special effects done we would be more than happy to work with you to achieve this.
